The LEADHer Circle recognizes those who provide a solid foundation for our young LEADers as demonstrated through their levels of giving and loyalty. Instead of birthday, anniversary, or wedding gifts, set up a Facebook fundraiser and reach out to your friends and family.

Donate Your Vehicle

Selling a vehicle takes time, money, advertising, and more. Donating your old vehicle – including cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats – to LEAD Girls of NC is easy through our partners at CAREASY. Call 855-500-RIDE (7433) or visit careasy.org and choose LEAD Girls of NC as your giving charity, and CAREASY will pick up your vehicle.

In-Kind Donations

LEAD Girls of NC is dedicated to providing the tools and resources that low-income/at-risk preteen girls must have to become productive citizens and active leaders in their communities. Some commonly used wish list items include: school supplies, gift cards to local stores and feminine products.

Company Matches

Many companies will match donations made by their employees, employees’ spouses, and/or retirees within the past year. Your company may have an electronic portal or accept paper forms.

BEQUEST
You designate LEAD Girls of NC as the beneficiary of your assets in your will or trust. A gift to LEAD Girls of NC through your will or living trust is a powerful statement of your support for our mission. Below you will find sample language that you can share with your Attorney or Estate Planner. Simply include this language in your estate document and you can be assured that you played a major role in helping low-income/at-risk preteen girls become productive citizens and active leaders in their communities.

“I bequeath to LEAD Girls of NC, EIN #82-0984711, 1100 West First Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101, (the sum of $_____) [OR]____% of the residue of my estate/trust), to be used for its general purposes.”

QUALIFIED IRA CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTION
Congress has enacted a permanent IRA charitable rollover, also commonly referred to as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). As a result, you can make an IRA rollover gift to LEAD Girls of NC this year and in future years.

Individuals aged 70.5 and older can distribute up to $100,000 each year from their IRAs to charities without counting the distribution as income.

LIFE INSURANCE
You can designate LEAD Girls of NC as the beneficiary of your life insurance premium.

GIFT ANNUITY AND CHARITABLE TRUSTS
Working with a trusted financial advisor, you can designate LEAD Girls of NC as the beneficiary of your charitable gift annuity and charitable trust.
