About Lyn Sisson-Talbert

Lyn Sisson-Talbert stands tall as one of the most accomplished female producers in Hollywood and the guiding force behind top grossing original projects for film, stage, and literature. Sisson-Talbert produced Netflix’s first original live-action musical Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and authored the Jingle Jangle book series, including The Square Root of Possible, Jingle Jangle: The Invention of Jeronicus Jangle, and The Perfect Gift: A Jingle Jangle Story. Following the film’s release, Sisson-Talbert inked a first-look film deal with Netflix launching Golden Alchemy Entertainment alongside her husband. Sisson-Talbert’s other film producing credits include Fox Searchlight’s Baggage Claim and Universal’s Almost Christmas, both of which opened as the #1 Comedy in America.

Growth Today for Greatness Tomorrow
#It’s What I Bring to the Table

Session Objective: To recognize what “skills and attributes” I have as a young lady.

Session Objective: To recognize I have the equation of possible inside of me!

What’s my equation?: Knowing My Skills and Attributes! – In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a self discovery activity about their own unique attributes and create their own guidebook of possibilities!

#It’s Social Advocating for Me

Session Objective: Identify ways to readjust and build community after COVID-19

Session Objective: Recognize what triggers social anxiety

Session Objective: Employ tools on “how” to find resources and not be ashamed for self advocating

This session will allow young ladies to think about ways to adjust and build community after COVID-19, recognize what triggers them and how young girls can best manage the anxiety. In addition, participants will be able to have a safe space to open up and share personal perspectives of anxiety and understand it’s okay to advocate for themselves.

*Physical Health

Session Objective: To support all participants in an awareness of physical activities and a little fun!!

#Stem

*Stem Experience for Girls

Session Objective: To empower future female leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math in Forsyth County.

Session Objective: To highlight the idea of inventions in conjunction with Jingle Jangle

Session Objective: Break down barriers to STEM education and to spark new ideas within diverse communities.

Girls in Stem

This session will allow girls to have a conversation with an experienced scientist skilled in biochemistry and nano-material analyses. Candice holds a PHD in chemistry from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Girls will participate in some science experiments.
