Support LEAD Girls

Support a girl now, empower her to support herself for a lifetime.

Your sponsorship donation will fund our work with girls throughout the year.

Thank you for considering a sponsorship of LEAD Girls.

Using an evidence-based curriculum, LEAD provides skill-building tools and mentoring that empower girls to aspire and achieve academically, emotionally and creatively, targeting four core fundamentals: Awareness, Communication, Leadership and Perspective.

LEAD Girls of North Carolina launched in January 2016. Since then 500 girls have benefited from the program. This year over 150 girls are enrolled at one of three program sites. Partnering with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools we hold programs at Mineral Springs Middle School, Wiley Middle School, Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy and at our Community LEAD location, which is open to girls from other Title One Schools.

Alongside the LEAD Girls programs, additional workshops, camps and community activities work together to increase girls’ communication skills, self-awareness, positive relationships, and personal/social responsibility – while decreasing risky behaviors and bullying – to increase self-sufficiency and confidence, planting the seeds girls need to grow into financially-
stable women.
